I exited my profitable QSR business which had 23 franchisees in 4 states and decided to solve for a major gap in preventive healthcare in India. I was jolted when I lost a close friend and a cousin to ailments which were completely preventable, rooted in metabolic health & obesity.
Tushar Rokade
IIT Indore, IIM Lucknow
All my career I worked in high stress roles, and in my last assignment I was part of the core team that grew an EV startup 5x in 3 years & IPOed it, of course with relentless travel, sleepless nights, skipped lunches, and complete ignorance to health. I had a major health scare last year when I decided to focus on health. I vowed to solve for the broken preventive wellness ecosystem in India after losing my dad to a heart ailment which I later learnt could've been prevented.
